John entered the Maryland Lighting agency full-time in 1992 as an outside sales representative. Prior to joining full-time, he spent seven summers serving various functions in the agency including clerical, customer service, inside quotations and outside sales. Currently he oversees the agency’s specification efforts while also maintaining account responsibility with key architects, engineers, lighting designers, and contractors.
John graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English in 1992. He is expert in state-of-the-art design software including AGI32, Lumen-Micro, Grafik Eye Designer 5.0, and LitePro. John is heading up our implementation of our new Contact Management Software Oasis. He maintains excellent relationships with our principals, provides training and assistance to other members of the internal sales team, and is often the liaison between the agency and factory on major projects.
John currently serves on Hubbell Lightings Oasis Design Team.
